Balın Kimyası, Özellikleri ve Sağlığımız

Abstract

Arı tarafından yapılan ve insanların beğenerek tükettiği bal, eşsiz bir besin olmasının yanı sıra aynı zamanda destekleyici tıpta da kullanılmaktadır. Büyük oranda şeker içeren bal, ayrıca çeşitli mineraller, aminoasitler, enzimler, fenolik ve aromatik bileşikler de bulundurmaktadır. Balın bu kimyasal kompozisyonu üretildiği coğrafik şartların da birebir yansımasıdır. Yani zengin floraya sahip coğrafyaların bal ve bal ürünleri de zengin içeriğe sahip olmaktadır. Destekleyici tıpta da bala olan ilgi giderek artmaktadır.
