Propolisin Yara İyleşmesine Etkileri

Year 2012, Issue: 2, 75 - 83, 01.10.2012

Abstract

Yaraların tedavisinde
epitelizasyonun sağlanması, mikrobiyel gelişimin önlenmesi ve ağrının
azaltılması önemli sorunlardır. Propolis epitelizan, analjezik, antibakteriyel,
antifungal ve antiviral etkilere sahiptir. Yan etkileri yok denecek kadar
azdır. Propolise karşı mikrobiyal direncin gelişmediği bildirilmiştir. Bu
derlemede, propolisin yaraların iyileşmesine etkileri hakkında bilgi
verilmiştir.

The Effects of Propolis on Wound Healing

Year 2012, Issue: 2, 75 - 83, 01.10.2012

Abstract

In the treatment of wounds, epithelialization , prevention of microbial development and reduction of pain are the major problems. Propolis increases epithelialization and has analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects. it has no accurate side effects. It has been reported that no microbial resistance developed against propolis. In this review, the effects of propolis on the healing of wounds has been given.
