INVESTİGATİON OF FEAR OF PAİN AND PAİN-RELATED DİSABİLİTY OF UNİVERSİTY STUDENTS

Year 2023, Volume: 3 Issue: 3, 54 - 58, 30.09.2023

Abstract

Aim: There are multiple treatment methods for low back pain. One of these treatments is rehabilitation. In our study, we aim to reveal the effects of training for rehabilitation on low back pain that can be seen.
Material and method: In our study, individuals with low back pain complaints were included and then grouped according to whether they received training for rehabilitation or not. In the study, questionnaires were applied to evaluate the fear of pain and pain-related disability. The results were evaluated using the Spss.22 package program. The significance value was calculated as p<0.05.
Results: In our study, demographic characteristics of the participants were not different between the groups at the beginning. In addition, in the evaluations made at the end of the study, no significant difference was observed in the comparison of the fear of pain and pain-related disability between the groups. However, there is a relationship between fear of pain and pain-related disability.
Conclusion: As a result of the study, there was no significant relationship between fear of pain due to back pain and disability due to pain in individuals who took and did not take rehabilitation courses

Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Ağrı Korkusu ve Ağrıya Bağlı Engellilik Durumlarının Araştırılması

Year 2023, Volume: 3 Issue: 3, 54 - 58, 30.09.2023
