PANDEMİ SÜRECİNDE ENFEKTE OLAN BİR BİREYİN MELEİS’İN GEÇİŞ KURAMINA DAYALI DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Year 2022, Volume: 26 Issue: 1, 35 - 41, 06.06.2022

Abstract

EVALUATION OF A PERSON WHO WAS INFECTED DURING COVİD-19 PANDEMİA BASED ON MELEIS'S TRANSITION THEORY

Year 2022, Volume: 26 Issue: 1, 35 - 41, 06.06.2022

Abstract

The new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), which was detected for the first time in China in December 2019, caused the disease named COVID-19, which acutely affected the respiratory system. In a short time, cases were seen all over the world and turned into a pandemic. The health sector is one of the most intensive and self-sacrificing institutions in epidemics that cause deaths worldwide. In epidemics that affect societies in socioeconomic and mental terms, the physical and mental health of healthcare professionals who assume a large part of the responsibility are negatively affected. In this study; The process of a nurse who cared for COVID-19 patients during the pandemic process, but later became infected with SARS-CoV-2, was examined on the basis of Meleis's Transition Theory.
