Öz

Endoskopide polipoid submukozal mide kitlesi görünümü veren ve cerrahi rezeksiyon planlanan gastrik varis olgusunun, baryumlu radyografi, gri skala ultrasonografi (US), renkli Doppler US ve bilgisayarlı tomografi (BT) bulgularını sunmayı amaçladık. Sekiz kez üst gastrointestinal sistem (GİS) kanaması geçiren 62 yaşındaki HCV (+) kadın olgunun endoskopi sonrası yapılan baryumlu üst GİS radyografilerinde, midenin kardiya-korpus bileşkesinde, 4,5 x 3 cm boyutlarda polipoid dolum defekti görüldü. Özofagusta varis görünümü izlenmedi. US incelemede mide posterosuperior kesiminde, renkle dolum gösteren ve tek fazlı, devamlı venöz akım içeren, kitle şeklini almış ve lümene protrüde olmuş anekoik tübüler yapılardan oluşan gastrik varisler izlendi; portal hipertansiyon bulguları elde edildi. Geç denge fazında elde olunan kontrastlı abdominal BT’de midenin posterosuperiorunda lobüle kitle görünümü ve batın içinde değişik lokalizasyonlarda, portal hipertansiyona ikincil kollateral venöz yapılar izlendi. Olgumuzda gastrik varis tanısı sadece radyolojik yöntemlerle konmuş olup, özellikle Renkli Doppler US ile gastrik varis tanısı kesinleştirilerek cerrahi rezeksiyondan kaçınılmış ve katastrofik kanama riski ortadan kaldırılmıştır
