YENİDOĞAN YOĞUN BAKIM ÜNİTELERİNDE MÜZİK TERAPİ

Öz

Müzik/müzik terapisi, sağlık bakımında gelişmiş ülkelerde gündemde olan bir yöntemdir. Müzik terapisi, günümüzde yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitelerinde yenidoğanın bireyselleştirilmiş gelişimsel bakımını sağlamada stresi azaltıcı, büyümeyi hızlandırıcı, beslenmeye geçişi kolaylaştırıcı, ağrıyı azaltıcı, uykuya geçişi kolaylaştırıcı, oksijen saturasyon düzeyi, kalp tepe atımı değerlerinde olumlu değişim sağlayıcı ve hastanede kalış süresini azaltıcı yöntem olarak kullanılmaktadır. Yenidoğan hemşireleri bireyselleştirilmiş gelişimsel bakım ve rollerini iyi bilmeli, multidisipliner bir ekip iletişimi içinde olmalı ve müziği bireyselleştirilmiş gelişimsel bakım uygulamaları içinde kullanabilmelidir. Bu makalede yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitelerinde müziğin yeri ve hemşireler açısından önemi paylaşılmıştır.
