Hastanelerde Çalışan Hemşirelerin Atalet Durumlarının Kaçırılmış Hemşirelik Bakımı ile İlişkisi

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı hemşirelerin atalet ve karşılanamayan hemşirelik bakım düzeylerinin ve bu düzeyler arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesidir.
Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tarzda gerçekleştirilen bu çalışma Diyarbakır merkezdeki bir devlet üniversitesi, bir eğitim araştırma ve bir özel hastanede çalışan hemşireler (N=1694) içinden oransal tabakalı örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenen 413 hemşire ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Atalet Ölçeği ve Karşılanamayan Bakım Ölçeği ile Mart-Kasım 2020 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizde, normallik testleri, güvenirlik analizleri, tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemler, karşılaştırma ve korelasyon analizleri kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Hemşirelerin öğrenme ataleti 2,61±0,52; deneyim ataleti 3,28±0,57; toplam ataleti 2,97±0,45 bulunmuştur. Öğrenme ataletinin erkeklerde, 6-10 yıl mesleki deneyimi olanlarda ve mesleki bilimsel yayın takip etmeyenlerde yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Karşılanamayan hemşirelik bakım gereksinimleri 2,54±0,84 bulunmuştur ve en yüksek düzeyin 36 ve üstü yaş grubunda, eğitim araştırma hastanesinde, 6-10 yıl çalışanlarda ve mesleki bir örgüte üye olmayanlarda olduğu görülmüştür. Karşılanamayan hemşirelik bakım hizmetlerinin iş gücü kaynakları nedenleri 1,81±0,93; iletişim/ekip çalışması nedenleri 2,15±0,86; malzeme kaynakları nedenleri 1,99±0,99 bulunmuştur. Atalet ile karşılanamayan hemşirelik bakım gereksinimleri ve nedenleri arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmamıştır.
Sonuç: Araştırmanın sonucunda hemşirelerde orta düzeyde atalet bulundu. Karşılanamayan hemşirelik bakımının orta düzeyin üzerinde olduğu ve bunun en önemli nedenin iletişim/ekip çalışmasına ilişkin nedenler olduğu belirlendi. Atalet ile karşılanamayan bakım arasında ilişki bulunmadı. Hemşirelerde atalet gelişmesinin önlenmesi ve karşılanamayan bakım gereksinimlerinin azaltılması konusunda önerilerde bulunuldu.

The Relationship between Missed Nursing Care and Inertia of Nurses Working in Hospitals

Öz

Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the inertia and missed nursing care levels of nurses and the relationship between them.
Method: This descriptive and relationship-seeking study was conducted with 413 nurses determined by proportional stratified sampling method among nurses working in a state university, an training research and a private hospital in the center of Diyarbakır (N=1694). Data were collected with the Introductory Information Form, Inertia Scale, and MISSCARE Survey between March and November 2020. Normality tests, reliability analyzes, descriptive statistical methods, comparison and correlation analysis were used in the analysis.
Results: It was found that Nurses' learning inertia 2.61±0.52; experience inertia 3.28±0.57; and total inertia 2.97±0.45. Learning inertia was found to be higher in males, those with 6-10 years of Professional experience and did not follow Professional scientific publications. Missed nursing care needs were found to be 2.54±0.84. It was observed that the highest level was in the age group of 36 and above, in the training and research hospital, in those who worked for 6-10 years and were not members of a professional organization. The reasons for missed nursing care services were found to be 1.81±0.93 for labor resources, 2.15±0.86 for communication/teamwork, and 1.99±0.99 for material resources.There was no significant relationship between inertia and missed nursing care needs and reasons.
Conclusion: As a result of the research, medium inertia was found in nurses. It was determined that the missed nursing care was above the medium level and the most important reason for this was the reasons related to communication/teamwork. No relationship was found between inertia and missed care. Suggestions were made to prevent the development of inertia in nurses and to reduce missed care.
