Öz
Amaç: Bu araştırma hemşirelerin hasta merkezli bakım yetkinliği ve bütüncül hemşirelik yeterliliğinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Nicel ve tanımlayıcı tipteki bu araştırma Ocak 2020- Şubat 2020 tarihleri arasında yapılmış olup, araştırmanın örneklemi Akdeniz Bölgesindeki bir Devlet Hastanesinde çalışan 176 hemşire oluşturmaktadır Veri toplama formu olarak; hemşirelere tanımlayıcı özellikler formu, Hasta Merkezli Bakım Yetkinliği Ölçeği (HMBYÖ) ve Bütüncül Hemşirelik Yeterlik Ölçeği (BHYÖ) uygulanmıştır.
Bulgular: Bu çalışmada hemşirelerin %61.4’ünün 35 yaş ve altında olduğu, %93.8’inin kadın olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmamızda 10 yıl üzeri çalışanların HMBYÖ puan ortancası, 10 yıl ve altı çalışanların HMBYÖ puan ortancasından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Yine mesleğini sevenlerin HMBYÖ ve BHYÖ puan ortancası, mesleğini sevmeyenlerin puan ortancasından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: Bu çalışmada HMBYÖ puan ortalaması 71.20±5.61 ve BHYÖ puan ortalaması da 203.39±19.92 olarak hesaplanmıştır
