Individualized Developmental Care in Preterm Infants

Individualized Developmental Care is an approach that aims to reduce the stress of preterm and / or high-risk newborns and provides nursing interventions for this purpose. The basis of individualized developmental care is based on synactive theory. The Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program Model was developed based on the synactive theory. In parallel with this model, The universe of developmental care was created based on the synactive theory. Core measures for developmentally supportive care model are based on The universe of developmental care. The neonatal integrative developmental care model covers all models. In this study, the theory based on individualized developmental care and models developed in this direction are mentioned
