Family planning is essential to reducing poverty and ensuring a healthy, productive future for millions of women and girls around the world. With the COVID-19 pandemic negatively affecting health systems, supply chains of health products and lifestyles in many countries, some problems have been encountered in accessing family planning services and using methods. At the beginning of these problems, it comes first that individuals cannot access the family planning information, methods and services they need. Especially with the COVID-19 pandemic, minimizing home visits in line with the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, reducing face-to-face contact with practices such as social distance and quarantine, brings less use of contraceptive methods that require one-to-one application. In this process, women's needs not only for methods but also for accurate information and communication resources should be taken into account, and the risks specific to each country should be evaluated in the decision-making process by establishing the right policies in reshaping family planning services. In line with this, it is aimed to examine family planning services, method use and problems encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic process in this review.
