Abstract
Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease mostly transmitted from infected animals to humans. It has a good prognosis with early diagnosis and treatment. It is important to remember when investigating fever etiology in our country, where infectious diseases are common. In this case report, the patient who was admitted to the emergency department with complaints of fever, sweating, body pain for 4-5 months was evaluated. The reason they have not been diagnosed at that time, family members questioned the direction of the same complaints, brucellosis in complexity and importance of the disease in our country with the reasons for the delay are discussed.

Abstract
Bruselloz çoğunlukla enfekte hayvanlardan insanlara bulaşan zoonotik bir hastalıktır. Erken tanı ve tedavi ile prognozu iyidir. Enfeksiyon hastalıklarının sık görüldüğü ülkemizde ateş etiyolojisi araştırılırken hatırlanması gerekir. Bu olgu sunumunda hastanemiz acil servisine 4-5 aydır devam eden ateş, terleme, vücut ağrısı şikayetleri ile başvuran hasta değerlendirilmiştir. Bu sürede tanı konulamamış olmasının sebepleri, aile bireylerinin aynı şikayetler yönünde sorgulanması, brusella tanısındaki karmaşa ve gecikme nedenleri ile hastalığın ülkemizdeki önemi tartışılmıştır.
