Alzheimer Hastalığında B12 Vitamini Eksikliği

Abstract

Alzheimer Hastalığı dünya genelinde yaygın
olarak görülen ve büyük toplulukları tehdit eden önemli bir sağlık sorunudur.
Hastalığın kesin tedavisi için bir yöntem olmayıp, oluşumunu engellemek veya
geciktirmek ve semptomlarını azaltmak için çalışmalar yürütülmektedir. Yaşlanma
sürecinde ve suda çözünen bir vitamin olan B12 vitamininin yetersizliğinde,
Alzheimer Hastalığı dahil birçok dejeneratif sorunlar ve demans
oluşabilmektedir. Hastalıktan korunmak için yeterli miktarda B12 vitamini
alınmalıdır. Bu derlemede B12 vitamini yetersizliğinin Alzheimer
Hastalığı ile ilişkisi incelenmiştir
