Ebelik Öğrencilerin Yapay Zekâ Kaygı Durumlarının Değerlendirilmesi

Year 2023, Volume: 8 Issue: Special Issue, 290 - 296, 16.12.2023

Abstract

Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence Anxiety of Midwifery Students

Year 2023, Volume: 8 Issue: Special Issue, 290 - 296, 16.12.2023
https://doi.org/10.51754/cusbed.1286594

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the anxiety levels of midwifery students about the use of artificial intelligence in the field of health, which is increasing rapidly in every institution, and to determine its relationship with socio-demographic variables. It is a cross-sectional and descriptive study. The population of the study consisted of 362 midwifery students studying at a state university, and the sample consisted of 281 students. Data was collected from Microsoft Office 365 Forms via an online survey link. According to the research findings, midwifery students have moderate anxiety about the use of artificial intelligence. A significant difference was found between the artificial intelligence anxiety scores of the students according to their parental education, parental occupation and income level. Most of the students stated that they do not use artificial intelligence, they do not know artificial intelligence applications in the field of health, and most of them want to use artificial intelligence applications in their professional life and education process and they find artificial intelligence reliable. It is recommended that artificial intelligence be integrated into the midwifery education curriculum and more comprehensive studies should be conducted to understand student midwives' concerns about artificial intelligence.
