Anticarcinogenic Role of Kefir

Year 2020, Volume: 5 Issue: 2, 73 - 82, 10.09.2020

Abstract

Kefir, a fermented beverage, has probiotic property. It contains many macro and micro nutrients. Traditional kefir production is done with kefir grains and cow's milk. Kefir and its microorganisms have been reported to have many beneficial health effects. Today, kefir is being used for alternative treatment of cancer, an important disease. In order to better understand the anticarcinogenic effects of kefir, large-scale controlled human studies are needed. In this review, the effects of kefir on cancer are discussed by reviewing the literature.

Kefirin Antikanserojenik Rolü

Year 2020, Volume: 5 Issue: 2, 73 - 82, 10.09.2020
